Completing the purchase transaction
When you purchase a vehicle, you will sign a Contract of Sale and other documentation that will contain personal information about you. Personal information is information about you from which your identity can be ascertained.

LE MANS TOYOTA collects this information so that the purchase of your vehicle can be completed, and so that we can advise the vehicle manufacturer of your purchase. The manufacturer requires this information so that it is able to advise you of any product recalls in the event of a safety concern, and to register your warranty.

If you do not provide us with this information, we are unable to complete your purchase of your vehicle.

Use and Disclosure
In addition to advising the manufacturer, LE MANS TOYOTA may disclose your personal information to any other company who is providing any goods or services related to the purchase of your vehicle. Your personal information will also be disclosed to VicRoads (who register your ownership of the vehicle) and any other organisation that requires your details in order to effect the registration of your vehicle.

LE MANS TOYOTA may disclose your personal information to its contractors and back-office service providers but only where they are committed to meeting the same privacy obligations as those binding on LE MANS TOYOTA.
If you apply for finance in connection with the purchase of a vehicle, LE MANS TOYOTA may provide your personal information to the financier for the purposes of the financing arrangements.

LE MANS TOYOTA may disclose your personal information to its related entities which are involved in the business of selling vehicles and accessories and in the provision of maintenance services.
